Oh YES!!! biggrin.gif today's spotlight on youth lacrosse is a Hive team. They are coached by The Corporal, Old Goalie and myself.

I am very excited for "my" boys. It is Matt Chase though and not Luke Chase. Matt is luke's little brother.

Way to go Apple Valley!

Better watch out. Now that they've had this kind of exposure you don't want their egos getting out of control. Next thing you know they'll start requesting lemon with their water. laugh.gif

Good luck with the rest of the season guys.

The road back to glory is alway rougher then the first trip - especially for non-professional teams. There is no permanance to recognition, and the young sometimes don't realize that.

Tell those players that no body but them got them the honor. They did that by getting their own water. If they want that recognition again not only will there be no lemon in the that water, but they will have to get that water themselves. Just like the first time. It is only way they know that works. That hard work will get them back to that honor, and push them on to the next level.

Congrats to the parents and the coaches on this honor as well. The hard part is now as the young heads involved are not fully hardened and can be prone to swelling.
