The NLL Players Survey results are in. The Swarm didn't win in any of the catagories but a couple did take the runner-up spots.

Nick Patterson was second in the MVP catagory behind John Grant. He even beat John Tavares who came in fourth.

Patterson also took third place for Best Goalie next to Anthony Cosmo (#1) and Dallas Eliuk (#2).

Adam Mueller was also third for Coach of the Year. Derek Keenan of Portland took first and Lindsay Sanderson of Philadelphia was second.

Congratulations to both Nick and Adam.

Interesting findings. Nick was almost league MVP in the voting but trailed in the best goalie voting. Maybe the Swarm stuffed the ballot box!

Don't get me wrong, Nick Patterson is one of my favorite Swarm players, particularly because he's so damn good with the little kids, but consistency -- game in, game out -- is the hallmark of an MVP.

Grant or Tavares should've won hands down.

Coach Mueller received strong kudos from his peers. We all hope he can build on last year's playoff earning performance.
