Keep an eye on the league website today because All-Star voting should be starting today:

QUOTE
All-Star voting is scheduled to begin online February 2 for fans and continue until February 16. Fan votes comprise one-third of the total player votes, with coaches and media comprising the other shares. More voting details will be released in the coming days.

You must register with NLL.com to vote. If you are already registered through NLL Fantasy, login first. When ready to vote, look for the picture below on the NLL website to vote. Also linked here.

Each team submitted six names to the all-star ballot.

Swarm eligible to vote on for the starting lineup:
  • Ryan Cousins
  • Nick Patterson
  • Sean Pollock
  • Kevin Ross
  • Ryan Sharp
  • Ryan Ward

After the starters are announced, the coaches and the league pick the reserves, so just because the player you want to go is not on the ballot, he may still be selected as a reserve.

Do most fans vote for the players with the best stats, the players that everybody has heard of (e.g. Gary Gait), or just their home-town team?

The Swarm have only played 3 games so far, while most other teams have 5 or 6 games under their belt. With only 3 games, our guys have not had a chance to pile up flashy numbers. Do you think that will hurt us?

As much as I like to see the Swarm in the ASG I do try to be neutral in my voting. I do vote for a few Swarm players but I also look at the other players and how well they stack up.

I look at the previous season's stats to determine my vote. It's too early in the year to just use this season's numbers.
