Kevin came to the Swarm last year as the 33rd pick in the 2006 Entry Draft. This past season, Kevin, a goaltender, played his first season of senior A lacrosse in Langley, British Columbia for the Thunder. He did extremely well on a team not as talented as most in the WLA. He had a fantastic GAA of 9.96 and a save percentage of .781 as he went 4-7 in 566:03 minutes of play. His performance this summer could be considered even better than Nick Patterson’s statistically and matches up well with Matt Disher, who was the WLA goaltender of the year.
2007 Stats
Last year, Kevin played the entire second quarter of the exhibition game in Winnipeg against Toronto, which the Rock won 13-11. In that quarter, Kevin only gave up two goals against an Rock team with Colin Doyle still in uniform along with Josh Sanderson, Aaron Wilson and Blaine Manning. He was released since we had Patterson and Disher but was signed to the practice roster later in the year as the third goaltender. With Disher possibly not coming back due to a new job, it looked like Croswell would be the second goaltender. Hopefully, fans in Minnesota will still be able to see Kevin play in Swarm blue and gold.
