Does anyone else have problems with the flood control or is it just me?

I completely understand why there is this flood control function on the boards and I have no problem with it being there. But, it states that you have to wait 30 seconds to post a message. So why in firery HE** do I have to sometimes wait over a *$%#@*$ HOUR BEFORE I CAN POST ANOTHER $*&@ MESSAGE!!! And yes, I'm very PO-ed. (I didn't say "PO-ed". That was edited by the powers that be.)



This isn't a one time thing. This has been happening quite frequently and there is no reason for it. I've tried four times to reply to Corporal's topic about who is going to lead the Swarm in 2007. Sorry Corporal but after re-writing my post four different times I finally gave up. Ward, Beirnes and Hall will lead in goals. Stewart and Dean Hill, if he plays regularly, will follow. That's all I'm saying about that.

I've been very polite as of now concerning this flood control issue. I've tried to e-mail the board administrator about this and my last three e-mails were returned to me because they couldn't be delivered. How convenient. So, now I'm posting my thoughts here. Hopefully someone will read this and realize there is a problem and, once and for all, fix it.

P.S. Who wants to bet that when I click the button to post this message it will be rejected by the flood control?

This might be a good reason to have some board-members as moderators...someone alive to go to when you're having a problem.

I notice that I sometimes get flood controlled for no apparent reason... For example, sometimes I get it when I haven't even posted...or am just trying to return to read more things and not write anything else.

It's a good question. And, not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I think you get it worse than anyone else. Hmmm.

You have 1,374 posts (#500 more than the next message board user)! If anyone should get a "flood control" message, it should be you.

You may need your very own moderator!

Try to limit yourself to no more than four to six posts a day...and not all in the same hour, and you should be golden!

Sometimes I can't even post two messages let alone six. Plus, I don't have all day to spread out my posts. I only have an hour before work and maybe an hour after work.
